Seven promotions announced at United Bank – August 26, 2013

Richard B. Collins, president and CEO of United Bank, has announced the recent promotions of seven staff members at the Bank’s corporate offices in West Springfield.

Aug2013Promos_NEWSNira Flatley was promoted to assistant vice president, collections manager. A graduate of Bay Path College with nearly 25 years of banking experience, she is responsible for managing residential delinquencies within the Bank’s loan portfolio. A Ludlow resident, she has been involved in the community as a Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteer, and as a financial supporter of the Friends of the Homeless in Springfield.

Kristyn Samere of Westfield, who joined the Bank in 2010, is now assistant vice president of training and development. She is an active member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD). A business administration graduate of Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, NY, she is currently pursuing an MBA at Northeastern University.

Amy Ganci was appointed assistant vice president, commercial lending administration. She joined the bank in 2011 with over 21 years of experience in the commercial lending field. She holds a degree in business/financial management from Westfield State University and an associate’s degree from Greenfield Community College. An East Longmeadow resident, she is actively involved in the community through the Pioneer Valley United Way and Dress for Success.

Jennifer DeBarge of Westfield was promoted to marketing officer. A graduate of Westfield State University, she joined the Bank in 1998 as a teller and transferred to the marketing department in 2003 as marketing assistant. She is an active member of the community ad has volunteered her time with the West Springfield Boys & Girls Club.

Ana Ricardo, who joined the Bank in 2008 with over 15 years of residential lending experience, was promoted to underwriting officer. She is an active participant in walks to raise funds for Autism Awareness, the March of Dimes, and Alzheimer’s Disease. She is a resident of Chicopee.

Ann Vallance of West Suffield, Connecticut was promoted to business banking officer. A native of Scotland, she began her banking career in 2004 and joined United Bank in 2012 in the areas of commercial lending and credit analysis.

Patricia Pasterczyk of Westfield was promoted to business banking officer. She joined the credit department at United Bank in 2011 with over 30 years of financial services experience. She graduated magna cum laude from Elms College in Chicopee with a bachelor’s degree in business management. She also attended the School for Financial Studies at Babson College and holds a certificate of advanced paralegal studies from Elms College.
