United Bank Promotes Brendan Theroux to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer

(Hartford, Conn. September 5, 2018) United Bank of Hartford, Connecticut today announced the promotion of Brendan Theroux to Assistant Vice President, Commercial Banking Officer based at United’s corporate headquarters in downtown Hartford.

Theroux joined United Bank in August 2015, assuming key back-office support responsibilities over the past three years. Most recently, Theroux was AVP and Portfolio Manager based in downtown Hartford. Previously, he held other key roles at United including Senior Credit Analyst and Commercial and Industrial (C&I) Credit Analyst at the Bank’s offices in West Springfield, Massachusetts.

Prior to United Bank, Theroux’s banking career started at Berkshire Bank in Hartford – first as an intern in commercial banking, which earned him a full-time position as Commercial Credit Analyst I upon his graduation from the University of Connecticut (UConn).

Theroux, who currently resides in Hartford, graduated Cum Laude from UConn (Storrs Campus) in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He is also a graduate of the Connecticut School of Finance & Management and a member of the MetroHartford Alliance’s Hartford Young Professionals & Entrepreneurs (HYPE).
