United Bank marked the official opening of its newest full-service banking branch in Glastonbury, Conn. at a ribbon cutting ceremony on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, which was attended by the Bank’s managements team, front office employees and back-office support staff, local Glastonbury business leaders, United customers and neighboring businesses of their new location.
The branch, located at 2670 Main Street on the corner of Main Street and New London Turnpike and directly across the street from Katz Hardware, is an approximately 2,200 square foot, full-service branch that provides retail and commercial banking, investment advisory services, mortgage banking and products for small businesses. This branch also provides customers night deposit services, a drive-thru teller and an ATM. For added convenience for customers who do their banking inside the branch, it has a conference room, four teller stations and private offices for members of its community banking team to work one-on-one with their clients.
Leading the branch is Anthony (Tony) Sweet, Vice President and Relationship Manager, who brings with him significant banking experience in the Glastonbury market.
