The United Bank Foundations Invest Over $15K in Their Community Partners this Holiday Season
(Hartford, Conn. December 12, 2018) The United Bank Foundation Connecticut and the United Bank Foundation Massachusetts today proudly announced that together they will be donating over $15,000 among more than 100 well-deserving nonprofit organizations this Holiday Season thanks to the Bank’s first-ever #My25 Employee Giving Campaign.
The Bank’s #My25 campaign was an internal employee and community engagement initiative they conducted from November 15 through November 30 where the two United Bank Foundations gave each employee a $25 credit to donate to a qualified 501c3 charity of their choice. Employees were also allowed to pool their $25 credits to make their donation even more impactful.
Hundreds of United Bank employees quickly responded and actively participated in this community giving campaign. As a result, the United Bank Foundations will be investing a combined $15,850 in 107 nonprofit community partners. To help promote the event internally and generate excitement and holiday spirit around the #My25 campaign, employees participated in video testimonials and took team photos to announce who they would be supporting.
