United Bank Foundation Donates $7,000 to the Interval House

(Hartford, Conn. June 26, 2018) At its annual United Bank Golf Classic in June, the United Bank Foundation Connecticut donated $7,000 to the Interval House. United Bank announced that the Interval House would be this year’s recipient of their “Birdies for Charity Challenge”.

Adam Jeamel, Eastern Connecticut Regional President, presented Mary-Jane Foster, President & CEO of the Interval House, with the $7,000 donation on behalf of the United Bank Foundation. United Bank and the Interval House have been longtime community partners in working to break the cycle of domestic violence in Connecticut.

Interval House was founded in 1977. The nonprofit organization provides services to victims of abuse and their children, such as a 24-hotline, court advocacy, safety planning, support groups, crisis counseling, as well as a children’s program and community education.
