United Bank Releases its Community Impact Report for 2017
The Link to this Year’s Report: United Bank's Community Impact Report for 2017
At United Bank, our core mission of ‘neighbors helping neighbors’ has essentially remained the same since 1858 when it comes to banking, customer service and community partnerships. Nearly 160 years later, we continue to be there for our customers every step of the way in fulfilling their banking needs while partnering with local organizations dedicated to making our communities an even better place to live, work and raise a family.
I am pleased to announce that in 2017 United Bank and our two charitable foundations together invested over $1.1 million in more than 250 nonprofit organizations, community sponsorships and student scholarships throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. To us, community partnerships mean more than just charitable giving. It also includes the countless hours of volunteerism performed each year by our employees and Board of Directors.
To learn more about just some of the organizations we supported in 2017 and how our employee engagement is making a meaningful difference, please take a moment to read our annual Community Impact Report. I hope you enjoy it.
