United Bank Announces New Leadership Team in Residential Lending Division
Richard B. Collins, president and CEO of United Bank, announced today that Barbara-Jean DeLoria has been named Senior Vice President of Commercial and Retail Lending and Milly M. Parzychowski has been hired as Assistant Vice President and Residential Lending Sales Manager. DeLoria has been with United Bank since 1989, most recently serving as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer. She also has overall responsibility for the Bank’s consumer lending department. In her new role, DeLoria will remain based at the Bank’s corporate headquarters in West Springfield and will maintain her commercial lending portfolio, in addition to her new responsibility for managing the Bank’s retail lending division which includes consumer and residential lending.
Well known to the business community in Western Massachusetts, DeLoria is the treasurer of the Affiliated Chamber of Commerce of Greater Springfield, Inc. and serves on the Professional Women’s Chamber. She also serves on boards for the Weston Rehabilitation Center for Women, the Massachusetts Small Business Review Board, and the Springfield Rifles Hockey, Inc. DeLoria is a teacher for the Center of Financial Training (CFT). She is the President of Dress for Success of Western Mass. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Bentley University.
Parzychowski is a new addition to the United Bank team, bringing with her decades of experience in mortgage financing in the greater Springfield area. As the Assistant Vice President and Residential Lending Sales Manager based at the Bank’s corporate headquarters in West Springfield, Parzychowski is responsible for managing the residential lending team of originators, as well as residential mortgage business development.
Parzychowski joins the Bank from Mortgage Master in West Springfield, where she served as senior loan officer, a position she also held previously with Family Choice Mortgage Corp., in West Springfield. She gained her bank operations experience at Valley Bank, Security National, Bank of Boston, and Northeast Savings before transitioning to a career in mortgage sales and lending. She then held lending positions of increased responsibility with Statewide Funding Corp. and Source One Mortgage Company in West Springfield, and with National City Mortgage and American Home Mortgage in Agawam.
She has an Associate’s Degree in banking and finance from Holyoke Community College and has earned the professional designation of Certified Mortgage Planning Specialist (CMPS®). Parzychowski received the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley Affiliate Good Neighbor Award in 2010, and was the Greater Springfield Association of Realtors Affiliate of the Year in 1997.
She serves as chair of the Board of Directors for the Agawam Small Business Assistance Center, is immediate past president of the West Springfield/Agawam Kiwanis Club, and is active in several charitable organizations.
