North Central Chamber Names United Bank Business of the Year
North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce held its 2017 Annual Meeting on December 7th at the Holiday Inn in Enfield. The Annual Meeting is the premiere event of the NCCCC, featuring a silent auction, entertainment the presentation of its Annual Awards.
This year’s honorees were United Bank as “Business of the Year”, in addition to the “Volunteer of the Year” recipient, which was Rebecca Olesen of the Guidance Office in Enfield. United Bank earned the Business of the Year award because of their dedication and commitment as a longtime member of the NCCCC. Anne Tingley, Vice President and Area Branch Manager who serves on the NCCCC Board of Directors, accepted the award.
According to the NCCCC, United Bank consistently provides volunteers for several of events and committees within the NCCCC, as well as being strongly represented in the Chamber Ambassador program which acclimates first year members to the organization. Chamber leadership felt strongly that United Bank’s community efforts should be recognized, and were therefore proud to be able to acknowledge the Bank’s efforts as the NCCCC 2017 Business of the Year.
