Longtime Ellington Banker, Nga Thuy Nguyen, Joins United Bank
(Hartford, Conn. March 29, 2018) United Bank of Hartford, Connecticut, is pleased to announce the hiring of a longtime Ellington banker – Nga Thuy Nguyen – as the new Branch Manager for their full-service bank branch located at 12 Main Street in Ellington, Connecticut.
Nguyen, who also holds the title of Vice President, joins United Bank after spending 19 years as Branch Manager for Key Bank’s Ellington branch (previously First Niagara, New Alliance and Savings Bank of Manchester), where she was responsible for leading the branch, building banking relationships with personal and business banking customers and delivering exceptional customer service. Prior to Key Bank, Nguyen was a Teller Supervisor from 1989 to 1997, working for various banks in the Connecticut market.
In addition to her extensive banking experience, accolades and strong familiarity of the Ellington area, she has earned various certificates and licenses during her three decades in banking including: Leading with Impact Certificate; Face the Challenge Certificate; America’s Community Banker Certificate; and her NMLS mortgage license. She graduated from Greater Hartford Community College with an Associate of Science degree and has been an Ambassador of the Tolland County Chamber of Commerce.
