Here's how to request a United Bank sponsorship or donation through our community giving program.
Through our Community Sponsorships Program, we participate in community events, offer assistance to non-profit organizations and support programs that our employees are involved in.
Please submit your sponsorship request 90 days in advance of the date of your event or when payment is needed to ensure we have adequate time to review and respond to your request. Be sure to let us know of any logos, program advertisements or other material you will need from us once the sponsorship is approved.
To request a United Bank sponsorship or donation through our community giving program, please email your request and related information to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be sure to include the following required attachments as well as a sponsorship benefit form or menu of sponsorship opportunities available and an outline of how the Bank’s will be recognized for the sponsorship support.
- 501(c)(3) IRS Designation Form
- Organization's W-9
- Organization’s mission statement on your letterhead
- Sponsorship benefits
- If your organization or program serves low or moderate income families and individuals please include supporting documentation about the percentage of low or moderate income families or individuals served and/or any impact the sponsored event will have on this population.
Organizations who have received grant funds from the United Bank Foundation Massachusetts or the United Bank Foundation Connecticut are not eligible for sponsorship consideration in the same calendar year. We generally do not sponsor the same event in consecutive years in an effort to ensure our funds are available to support a variety of new and ongoing programs in the communities we serve.
